BAFTA: Best Dressed

I can't explain the adrenalin rush that hits me upon seeing red carpet looks. The minute those first photos are released into the world judgments are made, perceptions are changed and careers can even be launched - with the certain 'best-dressed' celebrity plastered across every magazine, social media networks and fashion sites for their stylish attire. Get it wrong and, well, publicity is certain, along with a flock of harsh critics. The best dressed in my opinion are the stars who keep things chic and sophisticated, albeit with a hint of fearlessness and fun. Quite simply, something which embodies the celebrity's character, but keeps the body, inside the dress.

Sienna Miller was dressed in a Matthew Williamson, powder blue, Alice-in-wonderland-esque dress, with a leaf-like pattern and dash of sequins dotted at the ends of the arms and skirt. I love the mix of vintage romance, with the modern, perspex clutch. And, it has pockets. Handy. I just wish her stylist had gone for nude heels. The dark, grungy shoes, with their gold studs really dis-joint the whole whimsical, romantic-chic look in my opinion.

Simple sophistication was defined by Jenna Louise Coleman, in this blush pink, almost nude number. Theirs a romantic, feminine feel to the dress, contrasted with a statement clutch, which, appropriately, looks like it has been torn wrenched off of the Tardis ready for an earth outing.

And the theme of vintage decadents continues... This time with  Louise Rednapp. I love the monochrome blend, with the cute collar and flattering defined waist, as well as the perspex, boxy clutch.
Laura Whitmore looked A-list glamorous as usual tonight, dressed in a Sophie Kah look. Nothing says decadents better then black and gold. The television presenter's tall figure carries of the long, dramatic skirt with panache, whilst her loose, up do displays the simple top half to its best. Beautiful.
